This is the year that Deadmonton moved into the famous Paramount theatre on Jasper Ave. The building itself was an amazing venue for Deadmonton as it was decommissioned and had the CREEPIEST basement we ever did see. We called the Paramount home for 3 full seasons, but alas, we once again outgrew the venue.

We utilized the theatre as part of our theme in 2015, where a short film "The Curse of the Williams Farm" was watched at the beginning of the show. Patrons got to sit in the theatre seats, however, we added some creatures that weren’t in the original theatre…

The Curse of the williams farm

Years have gone by since the flood destroyed the Williams family pumpkin business. The legend of the Williams family farm has grown bigger and bigger over the years. There are endless tales of people who would attempt to visit the farm in disbelief and were never seen or heard from again. At the local coffee shop you can often hear people bickering about what exactly goes on at the abandoned Williams farm.

The Legend of the Williams farm grew so big it attracted a local film crew who decided to make a horror film about the farm and premier the show at the local abandoned theatre. Some people in the community warn about profiting off of others misfortunes. As every day passes, we’re getting closer the premiere of the film. The rumblings get louder.

You can see people running down the street in a panic yelling, ’The Curse! The Curse! The Curse of the Williams farm!’
